Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the WagsUnite mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact us on hello@wagsunite.com.

  1. Use of the App

    • You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.

    • You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your user account.

  2. App Content

    • The App provides information about dog-friendly places, activities, and facilitates dog meetups. All content, including user-generated content, is for informational purposes only.

    • WagsUnite does not guarantee the accuracy or availability of the information provided through the App.

  3. User-Generated Content

    •  Users may post content, including photos, reviews, and meetup details. You are solely responsible for the content you post.

    • You agree not to post any content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

  4. Privacy

    • Your use of the App is subject to WagsUnite's Privacy Policy, which can be found here.

  5. Dog Meetups

    • WagsUnite may facilitate or organize dog meetups through the App. Participation in meetups is voluntary and at your own risk.

    • You are responsible for your dog's behavior and safety during meetups.

    • WagsUnite is not responsible for any incidents, injuries, or damages that occur during meetups.

  6. Prohibited Activities

    • You may not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

    • You may not use the App to harass, stalk, or threaten other users.

  7. Termination

    • WagsUnite reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time without notice for any violation of these Terms.

  8. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content

    • This application is dedicated to providing a safe and respectful environment for all users. We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content, including but not limited to content that is violent, discriminatory, harassing, sexually explicit, or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

  9. Prohibited Actions 

    • Users of this application are expressly prohibited from engaging in any abusive or objectionable behavior, including but not limited to harassment, cyberbullying, hate speech, or the dissemination of objectionable content.

  10. Reporting Objectionable Content

    • We provide mechanisms for users to report objectionable content or abusive behavior. If you encounter content or users that violate these terms, please use the provided reporting tools to bring it to our attention.

  11. Blocking Abusive Users

    • To further ensure a safe and comfortable user experience, this application offers the option for users to block other users who engage in abusive behavior.

  12. Timely Action on Reports

    • ​We are committed to taking prompt and appropriate action on reports of objectionable content and abusive users. Our team will review each report and take the necessary steps to address the issue within a 24-hour timeframe.

  13. Consequences for Violation:

    • Users who violate these terms may face consequences, including content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent ejection from the application, depending on the severity and recurrence of the violation.

  14. Disclaimer of Warranties

    • a. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.

    • b. WagsUnite does not endorse or guarantee the quality of any dog-friendly place, activity, or meetup.

  15. Limitation of Liability

    • WagsUnite will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues.

  16. Indemnification

    • You agree to indemnify and hold WagsUnite harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the App.

  17. Governing Law

    • These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta.

  18. Changes to Terms

    • WagsUnite reserves the right to update or change these Terms of Service at any time. The most current version will be posted in the App.
